Members of Faith are very involved with the local Carlington Community Chaplaincy.

For example …

  • With several other local church choirs, Faith’s choir participated in a Carlington Choral Festival on May 4.  More than 300 people attended this event that raised over $2000.00 for the Chaplaincy.

  • Every Thursday morning, members of Faith volunteer at the Chaplaincy Hospitality programme; offering the gift of their presence in the community by helping serve coffee.

  • A family from Faith participates in the Chaplaincy “Family to Family Sponsorship” program. The program connects each family donor to a family from the Carlington community for 12 months in order to provide basic items and/or gifts anonymously.

 

  •  A member of Faith is also mentoring a member of the Carlington community through the Chaplaincy Mentoring program.
