Online COVID-19 Screening

Starting March 17, Ontario residents with a valid health card will be able to access these consultations from getmaple.ca and speak to a doctor through either an audio or video channel to discuss any COVID-19 symptoms and whether or not they should go for further testing or treatment. This is covered by OHIP.

This service is a safe and effective way for Ontario families to access COVID-19 screening from the comfort of their own home if they think they may have the coronavirus or may have been exposed and is expected to alleviate pressure on emergency rooms. After each screening visit, patients will be able to fax a summary of their results to their family physician or a local screening centre for next steps.
