Holy Communion is celebrated at every Sunday worship service.
Please join us after worship Sunday December 16 for a potluck brunch at Faith Lutheran Church (11:30-1pm), followed by carolling at the City View Retirement Residence on the corner of Meadowlands Drive West and Woodroffe Ave (1:30-2:30).

Following the Christian Meditation tradition of contemplative prayer, we gather to sit in silence and stillness for twenty minutes, focusing on a prayer word and repeating it interiorly and faithfully, as we enter the prayer of Jesus Christ. We also listen to a recording by teachers in this tradition (eg. John Main, Laurence Freeman), and reflect together briefly on this practice of prayer and our understanding of it. This time together provides an oasis of calm and concentration in a busy life of distraction and rapid mobility.
A festive worship of Word, Carol-sing, candlelight and Communion on Christmas Eve. At this year’s service, the choir sings the world-premier of “Glory Be To God for Christmas”, composed by Robert Woboditsch, a member at Faith. Come early to get a good seat!
The festival of the Birth of Jesus Christ, when the Word became flesh. Holy Communion. For this year’s celebration, we travel to Julian of Norwich Anglican Church (8 Withrow Ave, corner Merivale Rd) who share this service with us on a rotation basis every year.
